THE MILWAUKEE ORIGIN STORY

Escape The Room’s four exclusive escape room experiences are filled with secrets and mystery, but we operate with full disclosure when it comes to informing you about who we are and what we do as the original escape room in Milwaukee. Just don’t expect to have any information handed to you when it comes to making your escape.

Milwaukee’s Escape The Room first offered participants a new social gaming opportunity in April 2016. With the city experiencing its largest construction boom since the 1960’s, we knew it was the perfect time to make our mark! Milwaukee also hosts multiple festivals, multiple performing arts venues, and cuisine from almost any ethnicity you could name. It is the perfect location for our puzzle escape rooms. But it’s not the only one by any means!

While Escape The Room has locations scattered around the U.S., including New York, Boston, St. Louis, Detroit and Dallas, many of our 300 employees regularly request to be transferred to our Milwaukee location, so we know that we must be doing something right here. While our players are scrambling to escape, our employees are scrambling to be let in.

That being said, only a few of those players have succeeded in escaping. Think you and your friends can do better?

We have four unique escape rooms: The Agency, The Dig, The Apartment, and The Rec Room.  Each room has its own setting, secrets, storyline, and escape route. For instance, you’ll take on the role of a secret agent on a classified mission in The Agency. If you don’t mind taking a trip into the heart of the earth, The Dig offers the perfect ambiance. See how quickly an ordinary residence can become a claustrophobic, yet perfectly decorated, domicile of doom in The Apartment.

Regardless of which room you choose, you’ll have 60 minutes to search for clues and make your escape before time runs out. After you’ve successfully triumphed over one challenge, we hope to see you back for the mysteries that await in our other rooms.

Not only are escape rooms a way to break out of the normal gaming experience while getting a cerebral workout, they’re also great experiences for all kinds of groups. Help your employees work on their team-building skills with a social opportunity they’ll never forget. Escape rooms are also ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, wedding parties, and anyone looking to host fun out-of-the-box events.
