THE PHILADELPHIA ORIGIN STORY

Escape The Room’s three exclusive escape room experiences are filled with secrets and mystery, but we operate with full disclosure when it comes to informing you about who we are and what we do as the original escape room in Philadelphia. Just don’t expect to have any information handed to you when it comes to making your escape.

Philadelphia’s Escape The Room first offered participants the chance to test their mental talents in September 2014. With the instrumental role the city played in the history of our nation, we knew that the City of Brotherly Love would be a major location for our rooms. Home to multiple nation-wide companies, bursting with museums, and an art scene unlike any other, Philadelphia remains the perfect site for a puzzle room experience.

While Escape The Room has locations scattered around the U.S., including New York, Boston, St. Louis, Detroit and Dallas, none of them (especially Dallas) can boast about hosting the quarterback of the Super Bowl Champion Eagles (twice!) as well as many of our players from our other local sports teams.

That being said, with a 20% success rate, many of these groups didn’t make it out before time ran out. Think you and your friends can do better?

OUR ESCAPE ROOMS

OUR ESCAPE ROOMS

We have three unique escape rooms: The Agency, The Dig, and Meltdown. Each room has its own setting, secrets, storyline, and escape route. For instance, you’ll take on the role of a secret agent on a classified mission in The Agency. If you don’t mind taking a trip into the heart of the earth, The Dig offers the perfect ambiance. Save the city from an impending nuclear plant disaster in Meltdown.

Regardless of which room you choose, you’ll have 60 minutes to search for clues and make an escape before time runs out. After you’ve successfully triumphed over one challenge, we hope to see you back for the mysteries that await in our other rooms.

Not only are escape rooms a way to break out of the normal gaming experience while getting a cerebral workout, they’re also great experiences for all kinds of groups. Help your employees work on their team-building skills with a social opportunity they’ll never forget. Escape rooms are also ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, wedding parties, and anyone looking to host fun out-of-the-box events.
