WHAT IS ESCAPE THE ROOM EXACTLY?

Albuquerque’s Escape The Room offers different games and experiences. You can check out our escape rooms to find the right game for you. Your team (aka your co-workers, friends or family) can choose between The Submarine, The Dig, The Western Bank Heist, or The Theater. Our escape games require wit and creativity to play, that’s it.

WHAT IS AN 'ESCAPE ROOM'?

Escape rooms are a real-life gaming experience where players have full control over the outcome of the game. Escape rooms are designed to lock players inside until they are able to free themselves. Your escape depends on your ability to find hidden objects, clues and solve puzzles to earn your freedom. Uncover the room’s secrets before time runs out!

HOW DO ESCAPE ROOMS WORK?

Teams will have to work together and combine their wits to successfully free themselves before time runs out. While you will essentially be locked inside a room, know that you may ask to be let out if you or anyone else feels uncomfortable for any reason during the course of the game. Your safety and comfort are among our highest priorities.

HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF AN ESCAPE ROOM?

Once the room is locked, you have 60 minutes to uncover clues and solve puzzles. It’s up to your team to crack the code in time! No cheat codes and no unfair advantages will be given by our team!

HOW CAN I PLAY ESCAPE THE ROOM?

Gather your friends, coworkers and book the room of your choice. Each room offers its own immersive atmosphere. Escape rooms are the perfect chance to delight your brain with puzzles and clues while having fun with others (away from laptops, computers and the daily grind).

Think an escape room would be a great couple’s activity? No problem! You don’t need to buy all the tickets available for a room to play. Buy as many tickets as you need and your group will be added into a game with other teams that want to play in that room as well.

WHAT IF I ONLY WANT MY GROUP IN AN ESCAPE ROOM?

ALL GAMES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNLESS THE PRIVATE GAME OPTION IS PURCHASED. ONCE YOU SELECT THE AMOUNT OF PLAYERS ATTENDING, YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR GAME TO A PRIVATE EXPERIENCE BY PURCHASING THE REMAINING TICKETS AT A 50% DISCOUNT. IF YOU DID NOT PURCHASE THE PRIVATE OPTION, YOU MAY BE PAIRED WITH OTHER GROUPS DURING YOUR GAME.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR ANY OF THE ESCAPE ROOMS?

Though all of our puzzles are designed for adult minds, we welcome all ages. However, if any member of your party is 14 years of age or under, there must be at least one adult chaperone to accompany unless you have booked the entire room (though we still encourage having an adult present). If any member of your party is 10 years or under, you must purchase all tickets for a room to ensure it is a private game as a courtesy to our other customers.
