FAQS ABOUT ESCAPE THE
ROOM IN ST. LOUIS

WHAT IS ESCAPE THE ROOM EXACTLY?

St. Louis’ Escape The Room raises the stakes and excitement to reinvigorate players’ love of games in a number of different themed escape rooms. You and your friends can choose between The Dig, The Apartment, Western Bank Heist, or The Agency. Once you’ve successfully escaped one room, we hope you’ll try your hand at others.

What sets escape rooms apart from other real-life gaming experiences is that players are in control of the outcome of the game. Simply put, escape rooms are designed to lock players inside a room where they’ll have to race against the clock to uncover secrets and clues to help them escape. It is up to the players to use their observation and logic to uncover the room’s secrets and earn their freedom before time runs out.

Teams will have to work together and combine their wits to successfully free themselves before time runs out. While you will essentially be locked inside a room, know that you may ask to be let out if you or anyone else feels uncomfortable for any reason during the course of the game. Your safety and comfort are among our highest priorities.

Once locked in the room, you will have 60 minutes to search for clues and solve puzzles, hopefully leading to your escape. It’s up to you and your friends to crack our codes in time.

Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and book the room of your choiceEach room has a wholly immersive atmosphere and story to set the stage for your adventure. Escape rooms are the perfect chance to put your puzzle-solving skills to the test and have fun!

You are not, however, required to buy all of the tickets available for a room in order to play. Buy as many or as little tickets as you like. Your group will be added into a game with others who bought tickets for that room.

ALL GAMES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNLESS THE PRIVATE GAME OPTION IS PURCHASED.  ONCE YOU SELECT THE AMOUNT OF PLAYERS ATTENDING, YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR GAME TO A PRIVATE EXPERIENCE BY PURCHASING THE REMAINING TICKETS AT A 50% DISCOUNT. IF YOU DID NOT PURCHASE THE PRIVATE OPTION, YOU MAY BE PAIRED WITH OTHER GROUPS DURING YOUR GAME.

Don’t worry, none of our rooms are meant to scare you and there are no actors inside the room that would jump out at you! All of our rooms are designed to be fun and mentally challenging, but definitely not scary!

While there is some street parking on both Washington & Tucker, availability is limited. The best option for parking is the lot at 13th & Washington (entrance is by the sign for Rosalita’s Cantina). Parking is just $2 per hour. We do not validate.

Though all of our puzzles are designed for adult minds, we welcome all ages. However, if any member of your party is 14 years of age or under, there must be at least one adult chaperone to accompany unless you have booked the entire room (though we still encourage having an adult present). If any member of your party is 10 years or under, you must purchase all tickets for a room to ensure it is a private game as a courtesy to our other customers.
